Rare Thing opened in 2022 with a simple idea: create a space where beautiful, meaningful jewellery meets good people and good energy. Everything here is made in-house using recycled gold and silver, with the workshop right in the shop. Alongside our work, you’ll also find carefully chosen art & gifts from other small independent makers doing things their own way.

We also specialise in unique wedding and engagement rings, always made with intention and care. From the initial sketches and ideas we work with you to bring your ideas to life and create heirloom pieces that will be loved for a lifetime.

We run hands-on workshops where beginners can come learn traditional techniques and leave with something they’ve made themselves. We’re an inclusive, safe space and we’d love you to come and make something special with us. Choose from a silver ring workshop, hoop earrings workshop or a silver bangle workshop. No experience is needed, we will guide through every step, its such a lovely afternoon in a creative, warm environment where you can shut the world away for a few hours to learn something new and meet like minded people
