Permanent jewellery in Brighton, fitted in-store at Rare Thing. Each permanent bracelet is welded directly onto the wrist for a clean, clasp-free finish, designed to be worn every day. We work in recycled silver and gold, with a selection of chains to choose from. Each piece is measured and fitted individually to sit comfortably and last.

Appointments take place at our Brighton studio, with time to choose your chain and ensure the fit is right before welding your permanent bracelet.

book a convenient date and time to come down to the shop
£25 deposit is taken on booking, this is then deducted from the cost of your chosen jewellery
come to Rare Thing on your appointment day and time and choose your metal (recycled gold or recycled silver)
the weld itself takes two seconds but we allow 30 minutes for each appointment in order to make sure the bracelet is the perfect fit for you and to set up to make the weld as easy as possible.

Our permanent jewellery is designed to be worn continuously. It's delicate and unique, but it's not invincible. Please treat it with care.
We love making custom pieces! However, once an order is placed, it's final. No changes or cancellations.
Prices are subject to change without notice. But don’t worry, once you've made a purchase, the price is locked in.

We only use solid gold and solid silver. Please know your allergies and sensitivities and consider if permanent jewellery is right for you.
Removing permanent jewellery may require professional tools, and we are not liable for any damage incurred during removal.
Always be cautious when wearing permanent jewellery, especially during activities that might cause the jewellery to snag or get caught.
Even though it's permanent, your jewellery still needs some TLC. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and take care when performing tasks that could damage it.
If you need to have your jewellery re-welded we are happy to do that for a £10 re-weld fee
